"Exploring Opportunities and Strengthening International Collaboration in the Essential Oils & Patchouli Nursery Industry"
February 20, PT. AIR (Petaniglobal) had the honor of welcoming distinguished guests from the Philippines for an insightful company visit. This visit served as an invaluable opportunity to showcase our expertise in essential oil production and foster international collaboration in the agricultural sector.
The day commenced with a guided tour of our essential oil production facility, where our guests gained firsthand exposure to the meticulous process of extracting and refining high-quality essential oils.
Beyond the production facility, our guests also explored our patchouli plantation, a key component of our essential oil supply chain. Here, they engaged in meaningful discussions with our CEO Mr. Yahya Imanuddin and agricultural experts Izzul Noor regarding sustainable farming practices and optimal growing conditions. The exchange of ideas and best practices reinforced the commitment to enhancing the global essential oil industry through sustainable and innovative agricultural methods.
As part of our commitment to research and development, the visit extended to the Faculty of Agro-Industrial Technology (FTIP) at Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) and the Agricultural Laboratory at Unpad. This academic collaboration allowed us to explore the latest advancements in plant breeding for patchouli cultivation. The discussion centered on developing superior patchouli plant varieties with enhanced yield and oil content.
The visit marked a significant step in strengthening partnerships between PT. AIR (Petaniglobal), academic institutions, and international stakeholders. It underscored our shared vision of advancing the essential oil industry through continuous research, innovation, and global cooperation. We look forward to further collaborations that will benefit not only the industry but also the communities that rely on essential oil farming as a source of livelihood.
By fostering knowledge exchange and international partnerships, we remain committed to promoting the sustainable growth of the essential oil sector and creating opportunities for economic development. We extend our gratitude to our esteemed guests from the Philippines and our partners at Unpad for their valuable insights and contributions to this initiative.
