Petani Global recently participated in the Musrenbang Riset dan Inovasi (Research and Innovation Development Planning Forum) Kabupaten Sukabumi 2026. This vital agenda serves as a cornerstone for local development, charting a forward-thinking path for the region through science, technology, and strategic collaboration.
The forum strongly reflects the vision of Sukabumi’s leadership. Under the current administration of Bupati Drs. H. Asep Japar, M.M., alongside Vice Bupati H. Andreas, S.E. for the 2025–2030 term, the local government is heavily prioritizing research—particularly in the agricultural sector—to unlock and maximize the region’s vast natural potential.
A Strategic Triple-Helix Collaboration
As part of this grand vision, Petani Global step up as a key research partner in essential oil cultivation. Innovation cannot happen in a vacuum, which is why we have officially entered a collaborative ecosystem featuring prestigious academic and industry leaders:
- Universitas Indonesia (UI): Bringing world-class academic research and scientific methodologies to the field.
- Paragon Corp: Providing industrial insights, market standards, and commercialization expertise.
- Petani Global: Bridging the gap between lab-scale research and practical, sustainable agricultural implementation.
Through this synergy, we aim to standardize cultivation techniques, improve crop yields, and ensure the high-quality extraction of locally sourced essential oils.
Beyond Research: Empowering and Educating Local Communities
At Petani Global, we believe that true innovation must benefit the people at the grassroots level. Therefore, our role extends far beyond laboratories and test plots.
We are actively designing community education initiatives to pass down sustainable farming knowledge. To ensure these programs are culturally resonant and highly effective, Petani Global is partnering with local social movement drivers and community leaders. By empowering these local changemakers, we can effectively educate farming communities on modern agronomic practices, quality control, and sustainable land management.
Looking Ahead: Building Sukabumi as an Essential Oil Hub
Our ultimate hope and long-term vision aligned with the Sukabumi government are clear: to establish Kabupaten Sukabumi as a leading, competitive center for essential oils.
“By developing specialized essential oil hubs, we aim to not only boost Sukabumi’s regional competitiveness on a national and global stage but, most importantly, significantly uplift the livelihoods and economic welfare of our local farmers.”
With strong governmental support, top-tier academic backing, corporate synergy, and grassroots community engagement, the future of Sukabumi’s agriculture looks incredibly bright.
